Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. 2+ years of experience as a data analyst analyzing raw data using Excel, Tableau, etc. Job Description Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Additional job details and special considerations Business Analyst (Maintenance and Operations Support) position will perform advanced (senior level) business and systems analysis work that involves gathering, developing, and documenting user requirements, and reviewing and assessing business processes and tools. Will work in concert with appropriate stakeholders on IT solutions and business decisions to support the organizations short-term and long-term business goals/strategy to ensure they align with IT strategies and project requirements, provide technical support and assistance to users of Childcare Licensing Automation Support System (CLASS), CLASSMate and Public and Provider applications. This position will be responsible for stakeholder collaboration to gather and document requirements, statistical reporting, effectively communicating with non-technical audiences to understand business needs, ability to apply critical analytical approach to problem solving, ability to understand new information effectively and quickly, identify process improvement opportunities, Knowledge of large-scale IT operations and information technology industry trends.
