Formulate testing strategies for a complex integrated environment and utilize your collaborative skills to partner with other disciplines, business users and vendors to bring high quality solutions to successful implementation. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Business Systems Analysts and Development teams in the analysis and review of business objectives and requirements to ensure requirements are testable. Design, create and execute test scripts for testing of complex scenarios, including test data/environment setup. Maintain automated suite of test scripts. Collaborate with other disciplines to craft an overall testing solution. Track and report on test status and follow up on active issues until closure. Utilize expertise in technical details of the applications / systems being tested and document processes for future testing efforts. Support Test environments during testing phases. Use your SQL knowledge to setup correct conditions for the scenarios under test. Use existing QA and technical knowledge to evaluate current processes, propose and champion updates and improve testing for all areas. Works with colleagues and Scrum master to meet established target dates and completion of activities/deliverables under changing conditions. Ensures all aspects of testing, such as manual execution, regression, automation and DB testing, is completed. Maintains the regression test bed to meet changing requirements. Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgement and problem solving. Provides mentorship to junior team members as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field 7+ years of QA / testing experience Minimum 3 years of experience writing SQL queries 3+ years of experience in creating automation framework using scripting/programming languages. Preferred Qualifications: Solid understanding of the QA role, testing principles and how QA fits into the Software Delivery Lifecycle Experience with Automation testing tools (e.g. various frameworks, Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, Selenium, etc.) UI Automation -WebDriverIO knowledge & JavaScripts DB Automation- Selenium ,JAVA ,Maven and API Knowledge of integration of Selenium based framework with Excel and JSON Experience and comfort with test case management/defect tools (ADO) Detail oriented with the ability to work and guide others during time constraints to meet deadlines Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams and groups Demonstrated strong technical and analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong time management skills, ability to work well in a diverse environment Desire to research, adapt and implement new testing methods and keep track of industry trends Financial Services industry experience.
