Role: QA Automation Engineer Location - Denver, CO (Day one Onsite) Type: Contract Primary Skills - Java/JavaScript, very strong programming knowledge, Good Automation tool (Selenium/Cypress/CodeceptJs etc.), Excellent communication skills 5+Years Automation experience and Very strong coding experience in Java/Javascript A strong automation engineer who has automated test cases and developed test components. Look for someone who is very strong in coding skill as that is a non-negotiable factor. Communication should be fluent and confident. Refer to the JD for more details. Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Strong 5+ years Test Automation experience in Test Automation and with Java or JavaScript strong programming skills. Java/JavaScript strong programming skills Any Automation framework Selenium/Cypress or others. Advantage to have experience in JS based automation Framework (CodeceptJS, Cypress, Jasmine, Nightwatch, Protractor etc.) Good hands-on experience in Java/JavaScript Automation experience on mobile platforms Well versed with Git / SVN / Bitbucket code mgmt. tools Good understanding on QA principles and processes Highly competent with one or more Agile methodologies; Scrum and Kanban preferred. Other skills Able to handle technical discussion with client. Collaborate with backend development team and other team members to create quicker issue resolution. Self-starter and should be able to work independently without much supervision Should Have a high sense of responsibility, communicative and self-organized Follow Agile methodology with active participation in sprint planning, sprint review and daily stand-up meeting Job Duties: Maintain existing smoke, sanity and regression test scripts stability/reliability >95% for JS 10ft, JS 3ft, Roku and Android platforms. Develop new test automation scripts for new features and maintain the automation coverage >80%. Run daily test runs (smoke and sanity test suites) through a scheduler in either the Denver or Bangalore office for LG, Xbox, FireTV, browser, Android TV, analyze and publish the results.
