Hi Associates, Position: IT Security Project Manager Lev 3 Location: Brooklyn, NY (On-site and No Remote Option) Duration: 12 months ( 35 hours per week) Rate: Open Must Provide Three (3) Professional References; Work Authorization; and Photo ID US Citizen/Green Card Only - Possible Contract to Hire (CTH) Scope of Services: IT Security Project Manager to Provide Project Management expertise to security SMEs to test and deploy complex NG9-1-1 systems and monitor for any and all threats. Plan and coordinate meetings and teams for security scanning of all required system hardware and software and evaluation of the results. Manage the schedule and validation of the systems for functionality, performance, fault tolerance and operation readiness. Integration of interrelated Public Safety security policies with NextGen911 systems. Manage project plans associated with IT security management across all workstreams. Ensure that NENA Standards and NIST security controls are documented and properly implemented by all workstreams. Work closely with executive level leadership, as well as internal and external stakeholders. Mandatory Skills: 12+ years experience in IT Security Project Management role, managing administration of security policies (end to end) specifically related to Public Safety. Excellent leadership and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Experienced in interfacing with executive level management and giving senior level presentations. Minimum 8 years of experience overseeing Medium to Large Scale projects. Solid technical experience in a large-scale enterprise environment for Emergency Services. Professional Security Certification (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CISM). Excellent verbal and written communication ability with strong visual presentation and public speaking skills. Desired Skills: Experience working with or for New York City government agencies. PMP Certification. Minimum of 5 years experience in vendor management..
