The Metadata Lead will play a pivotal role in driving the technology and metadata operation standards for data governance and delivery solutions throughout Huntington Bank. The Metadata teams support metadata management operations and operations of the comprehensive data inventory. Their experiences in all phases of the data lifecycle and team-oriented collaboration will facilitate the transformation of Huntingtons data strategy and support the data users business needs. The Metadata Lead drives and executes reporting and analysis needs for various end users, management, project teams, clients, and peers, focusing on the identification of metadata, reference data, and quality issues, as well as potential solutions. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead continuous Improvement of the metadata and reference data repositories to meet the needs of stakeholders. Partner with technical and business stakeholders to perform root cause analysis of data lineage gaps in our metadata repository and recommend solutions Lead internal groups in resolving data concerns. Update metadata and reference data repositories where appropriate based on input from technical or business stakeholders Manage the diagnosis of issues with existing platform configurations and provide recommendations for improvement. Use business acumen and functional stakeholder input to recommend and implement process improvements supporting Critical Data Element certification as part of a federated Data Governance team Build strong working relationships throughout the enterprise. Serve as a functional expert on our data systems & reporting tools, while communicating with other teams via robust data storytelling. Perform other duties as assigned.
