(metro accessible) Duration: 6 month contract with likely extension Hybrid: 3 days a week onsite or could be remote (Must be able to work EST hours) Our partner is looking for a Power BI Developer who would be responsible for the following: Translating business requirements into technical specifications to create insightful and interactive dashboards that drive decision-making. Design, build, and deploy Microsoft Power BI interactive and paginated. Create visualizations and reports for requested projects. Develop knowledge transition plans, and technical documentation for requested knowledge transition sessions. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience using Power BI. Superior communication, collaboration skills and interpersonal leadership skills. Proven experience as a Microsoft Power BI Developer and/or Data Engineer. Experience in dimensional modeling, including tabular modelling. Understanding of database management systems, ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks and SQL language. Expertise in data visualization and storytelling, including creating interactive reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI using standard visuals. Experience creating paginated reports in Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Comfortable writing Power BI DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to build measures and calculated columns. Experience in Data Management and understanding of database systems. Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative. Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, a strong analytical mindset, and able to produce high quality, accurate reports from high-level requirements while working in a high pressure and dynamic environment.
