This role involves overseeing the full spectrum of automation initiatives within a GMP facility. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, installation, and quality testing phases of automation projects in adherence to GMP standards. Oversee the entire lifecycle of automation projects from conception to implementation and maintenance. Take charge of materials planning, budget formulation, and cost control measures to ensure project feasibility. Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans to meet project objectives. Address complex technical issues by contributing valuable insights and solutions. Interface with vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts, materials, components, equipment, and services, meeting technical specifications and budgetary constraints. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in various technical aspects including data exchange, supervisory control (SCADA systems and HMIs), historians, programming and configuration (particularly in control logic), distributed control systems (DeltaV), and enterprise systems integration. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate team members towards project success. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple automation projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
