Microsoft Engineer(Azure, Office, Windows, etc.) Onsite in NYC (local to NY/NJ) Contract to Hire 6+ months US Citizen or Green Card Holder Interview : Teams Microsoft Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As a Microsoft Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including Active Directory, Office 365, Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11, and upcoming 12), Azure services, Power BI, and MS Exchange. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Microsoft technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage complex Active Directory environments, including domain controllers, group policies, DNS, DHCP, and security configurations. Manage and administer Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business. Deploy and maintain Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11, and upcoming 12) across enterprise environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance. Configure and manage Azure services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Azure networking components. Develop and implement Power BI solutions for data visualization, reporting, and analytics, leveraging data from various sources within the organization. Administer and support MS Exchange on-premises and hybrid environments, including mailbox management, email security, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement integrations between Microsoft technologies and third-party systems. Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption to improve efficiency, scalability, and security. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in Microsoft infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Active Directory, Office 365, Windows operating systems, Azure, Power BI, and MS Exchange. Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex Active Directory environments, including multi-domain forests and trust relationships. Proficiency in administering Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business. Experience with deploying and managing Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11, and upcoming 12) in enterprise environments. Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, and Azure networking. Demonstrated ability to develop Power BI solutions for data visualization, reporting, and analytics. Expertise in administering and supporting MS Exchange on-premises and hybrid environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
