Systems and services to include (but not limited to) firewalls, load[1]balancers, web-proxies, and employee remote access. Perform configuration tasks such as addition, deletion, or modification to system/service parameters to support Avaya business requirements. Troubleshooting and debugging of reported issues adversely affecting business initiatives and/or employee productivity. Work with vendors and cross-functional teams for any service impacting outages or any on-going design efforts. Standard availability for 8x5 operational support during normal business hours, plus emergency support outside of normal business hours when required. Regular updating and processing of ITIL tickets in support of defined SLAs Maintain technical and standard operational procedures. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Networking, Electronics and Communication or otherwise relevant field Minimum of 5 years working experience in an IT organization where Network Security, Network/Cloud Operations was a key component of the role and customer facing technical support PREFERRED SKILLS Proficient in all aspects of the English language able to clearly articulate ideas in spoken and written forums, as well as easily understand western dialects Excellent understanding of network concepts such as switching and routing, as well as higher level services including load-balancing, web[1]proxies, and firewalling. Excellent understanding of TCP/IP Stack, OSI model of computer networking, subnetting, super netting, Network Address Translations. Ability to read and interpret packet capture analysis using standard tool sets. Good understanding of BGP/OSPF routing protocols; IPSec/SSL encryption technology; application load-balancing and availability. Hands-on experience with the following products and technologies o Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet firewalls o A10 ADCs and load balancers o SDWAN, Zero Trust (ZTNA) - familiarity with Versa considered an asset o ZScaler web-proxy Familiarity of information security concepts and controls considered an asset Familiarity of IPAM concepts including DNS/NTP as well as content delivery (CDN) service providers considered an asset http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=116796&uid= |
