Position: AWS DevOps Cloud Engineer (Hybrid) NO Location: Charlotte, NC 28244 - Hybrid, 2 days on site a week Relocation : Considerable Duration:6+ Month Job description: Job description: Role Overview: As an integral part of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end, highly scalable, and resilient infrastructure as code solutions for the Ping Identity platform within the AWS public cloud environment. Additionally, you will spearhead the implementation of CI/CD capabilities for both infrastructure and applications. Your role will involve configuring monitoring solutions, utilizing the EFK stack to correlate logs from various sources for troubleshooting and metric generation. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in writing infrastructure automation scripts, developing CloudFormation templates, and seamlessly integrating them with DevOps tools. Occasional travel to other locations for business engagements may be required. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement highly scalable and resilient infrastructure as code solutions for the Ping Identity platform within AWS. Establish and enhance CI/CD capabilities for both infrastructure and applications. Configure monitoring solutions using the EFK stack to correlate logs for troubleshooting and metrics generation. Develop infrastructure automation scripts and CloudFormation templates, integrating them with DevOps tools. Provide support for AWS production environments, ensuring seamless operation and troubleshooting as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in IT or Software Engineering, including a minimum of 3 years in an AWS cloud environment. Minimum of 3 years of DevOps experience. Proficiency with build and deployment automation tools such as Jenkins. Hands-on experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying highly scalable and resilient cloud-based infrastructure. Expertise in AWS Core Services, including IAM, CloudFormation, EC2, ECS/Docker, API Gateway, ELB, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, CodeCommit/Git, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, and Lambda. Highly proficient in Python, with additional skills in Java and Node.js being advantageous. Strong experience in setting up and troubleshooting AWS production environments.
