Perform corrective services to base operating system and ISV software as required.Provide updates for new versions, releases, upgrades, operating system software and ISV products. Provide support for the pre-approved list of EXITS and USERMODS, Assembler and Cobol.Install, customize, administer and support pre-approved system tools and utilities. Assist Client in ISV software upgrade user-testing.Engage the appropriate software support groups for operating systems software problem resolution. Participate in outage reviews or Root Cause Analyses (RCA) as required. Perform system operations.Monitor and control the operation of the mainframe hardware and software. Start and stop system tasks.Work with the production control staff to ensure the normal health and operations of the systems.
