Implement 12 factor application development principles using REST APIs. Utilize expertise in XSLT, SOAP, Security, JavaScript, Docker, PaaS, microservices, and Full Stack development. Deploy microservices into containers, particularly on Red Hat OpenShift or similar platforms. Apply object-oriented analysis and design concepts, including object modeling and schema interpretation. Collaborate in SAFe, Kanban, DevOps, or Agile/Scrum environments. Design, develop, and test server and UI screens using Java/J2EE. Support deployed APIs and contribute to API lifecycle management. Document and design APIs using frameworks like Swagger. Develop APIs for both internal and external use. Actively engage in learning new technologies and development paradigms. Meet deadlines and collaborate effectively within a team. Mentor junior team members and maintain strong interpersonal skills. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. 7+ years of Java/J2EE software development experience. Proficiency in REST API development with 3+ years of experience. Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration platforms. Experience with Git, YAML files, and CI/CD toolsets like Jenkins. Knowledge of enterprise Java applications and development frameworks. Ability to troubleshoot deployments in an AWS environment. Preferred experience in Spring, automated testing, and business rule technologies. Previous application system support experience and familiarity with the airline industry are advantageous.
