The network architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining large-scale Aruba controller based wireless networks for the ODRC. The position will be involved in providing technical support, documentation, and training to the network team and the end users. Responsibilities Design, configure, deploy, and optimize Aruba Clearpass and Wireless solutions for various network scenarios and requirements. Creates or edits for recommendation and approval IT artifacts, including, but not limited to, policies, procedures, standard, guidelines, best practices and position papers. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to Aruba Clearpass and Wireless technologies, such as authentication, authorization, encryption, roaming, QoS, RF, and security. Monitor and analyze network performance and health using Aruba tools and best practices. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to the network team on Aruba Clearpass and Wireless solutions. Prepare and maintain network documentation, diagrams, policies, and procedures. Conduct network audits, assessments, and reviews to ensure compliance with Aruba standards and best practices. Stay updated with the latest Aruba technologies, products, and certifications. Train and mentor network team members and end users on Aruba Clearpass and Wireless solutions. Qualifications 4 year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 7+ years of experience working in networking, with at least 5 years of experience in Aruba Clearpass and Wireless solutions. Expertise in Aruba controller based wireless solutions, including ArubaOS, Aruba Central, Aruba Airwave, Aruba Activate, and Aruba Instant. Expertise in Aruba Clearpass solutions, including Clearpass Policy Manager, Clearpass Guest, Clearpass Onboard, Clearpass OnGuard, and Clearpass Exchange. Expertise in network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, 802.1X, EAP, WPA, WPA2, WPA3, NAC, VPN, and firewall. Expertise in network troubleshooting tools and methods, such as Wireshark, ping, traceroute, iperf, and Aruba utilities. Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX) and Aruba Certified Clearpass Expert (ACCX) certifications are highly preferred. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
