Description: The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) isseeking a SharePoint Product Specialist contractor for a 12-month engagement forthe Engineering Application Services Department as an ECM Construction BusinessAnalyst. This person will beresponsible for business analysis and solution design in support of NCDOTs Constructionand Materials and Tests business processes that are valuable to thetransportation lifecycle. Thisindividual will define and prioritize SharePoint and web based projects deliveringcontent management and business process support on behalf of these businessunits, breaking down the design into work items, tracking status, managing communicationand dependencies. This individual willalso perform quality assurance testing, coordinatetest validation and rollout for these projects, ensuring customers are informed& trained, sufficient help & training materials are created anddelivered, and that operational support is arranged. This individual should have experience withstandard business analysis processes, quality assurance testing as well as experiencewith business process transformation. The individual must be knowledgeable and experienced with projectmanagement, product ownership and the system development life cycle. This individual must have proven SharePoint experiencewith designing custom Microsoft SharePoint lists, libraries & contenttypes. Design SharePoint and web-based solutions tosupport Construction business processes that are valuable to the transportationlifecycle Break down design into clearly defined,manageable work items for the development team Prioritize and track progress on work items anddeliverables Ensure work items and deliverables arescheduled, completed, and delivered to the clients on time and with highquality & excellent, usable documentation.
