This position will report to the Assistant Director, Enterprise Data & BI. The above is not an all-inclusive list of all duties performed by this job title, only a representative summary of the primary duties and responsibilities. Incumbent may be required to perform other additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 4 to 5 years as a database administrator with three plus years SQL Server 2016 and newer or equivalent combination of experience and education including college courses such as MIS, Computer Science, or related field. Experience must include eight years of SQL OLTP or Data Warehouse development experience including T-SQL, MDX, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS, developing and delivering database solutions in an enterprise environment. Certifications in MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist), MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) in SQL Server / Data Platform is a plus. Experience working with Azure SQL databases, managed instances, stretched databases, data lakes, and log analytics is a plus. Experience working with AWS QLDB is a plus. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in database administration involving management of multiple SQL databases in a highly dynamic environment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong experience with performance tuning on MS SQL Server, experience with data integrity, data retention, data analysis and data input/output processing and improving SQL code performance efficiency. Knowledge of SQL Utilities (BCP, DTS, SSIS-2016+, SSAS, Power BI, etc.).
