Lunch is 12:00 12:30. The contract assumes an additional 80 hours of unpaid leave in addition to the above per state fiscal year. Work location is majority remote; however, selected candidates will be required to report IN PERSON for an interview at PennDOTs offices at 400 North Street, 5th floor, Harrisburg PA. Engaged candidates will also need to report IN PERSON to pick up equipment as part of onboarding and may be required to report for occasional in-person meetings or training. Selected candidates must provide a completed PATCH check and work authorization done at vendor expense prior to engagement. On-site work location is a secured floor. Engaged candidates must bring a check or money order for $20 payable to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the first day work to pay for a badge. The agency does not provide parking. Skills Required: 8+ Years HTML, CSS, JavaScript Prefer: prior experience with jQuery and Bootstrap Angular with recent experience with Angular 14 or greater Testing frameworks Prefer: Jasmine and Karma Including: xUnit/NUnit .NET Core and C# with recent experience with .NET Core 5 or greater. ASP.NET Prefer: Familiarity with frameworks like MVC or ASP.NET Core for building web applications Prefer: Experience with RESTful APIs SQL Server / T-SQL ORM, such as Entity Framework and Dapper Tools: Visual Studio with recent experience in VS2022 and VS Code Azure DevOps / Git Required: Knowledge and Experience Knowledge of Responsive and mobile-first design Knowledge of Design Patterns and Solid principles Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion Knowledge of regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA) Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA requirements Experience designing for platform technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android) Experience applying WAI-ARIA authoring guidelines and best practices.
