A person who can establish SRE best practices and supports App teams in maturing SRE principles and culture. The Goals Driven Wealth Management platform is a showcase product for Northern Trusts Wealth Management business and we must demonstrate our ability to deliver and support innovative technology solutions. We count on our site reliability engineers to run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health. Major Duties: 1. Develop and implement SRE best practices across the entire technology stack. 2. Collaborate with both application and infrastructure teams to establish reliability goals. 3. Design and maintain observability solutions for comprehensive monitoring. 4. Lead incident response and post-incident reviews, driving continuous improvement. 5. Manage Disaster Recovery exercises 6. Access review/Audit activity 7. Participate in capacity planning and performance optimization efforts.
