Job Description

Title: Project Manager, Data Integration

Location: REMOTE

Duration: 6+ Months

Visa: Green Card or Citizen

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for thesuccessful planning and execution of technology-based projects as assigned by leadership, which includes integration of various EMRs via a third-party platform to agilons IT platform. Projects may be moderately to highly complex and will involve hands-on work with resources throughout agilon IT Product and Technical Services, business leaders, Answer Health, vendors, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate must be able to quickly adapt to different sizes and types of projects and must be able to communicate effectively within and across teams, functional units, and management levels. Resource must be a self-starter and be able to work independently.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for establishing and following project and program management techniques and processes applicable to technology projects.
Develop and update technical documentation.
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Analytically minded with problem solving aptitude.
Support physicians and office staff in understanding and achieving their goals within the Risk Bearing Entity.
Responsible for end-to-end management of technology projects and programs, including multiple simultaneous projects.
Manage the full project life cycle including clarifying objectives and priorities, gathering requirements, creating project plans (deliverables, metrics, timelines, owners), obtaining and managing resources, managing budgets, and facilitating project execution, deployment, monitoring, and closure.
Create and maintain status documents for programs and projects, for use by management reporting, and company monitoring.
Frequent interaction with project participants at both a macro and a micro level.
Build strong relationships with all project and program participants to ensure earnest participation at all times.
Knowledge of operational workflows and patterns of data use.
Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
Hold teams and members accountable for producing on-time high quality deliverables.
Coordinate/lead status meetings.
Responsible for preparing agendas and the minutes for various committees.
Prepare and assemble meeting packets.
Knowledge of medical groups, and managed care operations as well as IT operations.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Ability to prioritize quickly and effectively.
Must be able to coordinate and prioritize duties to ensure all assigned tasks are completed thoroughly, accurately and within given timeframes.
Perform special duties and tasks as assigned.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Experience

Knowledge of medical groups, managed care operations as well as IT operations.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Ability to prioritize quickly and effectively.
Must be able to coordinate and prioritize duties to ensure all assigned tasks are completed thoroughly, accurately and within given timeframes.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
At least three years of IS-related, project/program management experience, with at least two of those years in health care.
A clear understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
A mix of project management experiences in both technology and operations areas
Skills related to effective project management, including strong work ethic, attention to detail, time management, ability to prioritize, problem solving, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
Experience with Monday.com or other well-known project management software tools.
Ability to work independent with minimal supervision on multiple, simultaneously running projects.
Knowledge or experience with agile methodology.

Education/Licensure:

Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent work experience.
Preferred PMP Certification

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to be a team player and exercise initiative in responding to requests and concerns in a helpful and courteous manner
Comprehensive understanding of the health care industry
Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills are required
Exercise attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision, multi-task, complete projects in a timely fashion and meet deadlines a must
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills a must.
Language Skills:Strong communication skills both written and verbal to work with multiple internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment
Mathematical Skills:Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Computer Skills:Ability to create and maintain documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Supervisory Responsibilities (if applicable):

Oversees any assigned staff. Responsibilities include: recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees; assigning workload; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; and coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
