Senior level experience. Job Description Take the lead role in all aspects of the SDLC for machine control, body control, telematics and displays Analyze business and systems requirement to estimate scope and effort to complete software design, development and testing tasks. Lead and develop the capabilities of junior software engineers in pair programming Assume a leadership role within a project, provide architecture direction, assign duties to other team members and be the technical interface to internal and external customers on a project or group of projects. Design, develop and test embedded software in the C and C+ programming language Integrate Simulate Model Based Design autocoded source code into hand written C/C++ plus code Design software architecture to run on FreeRTOS/SafeRTOS and Linux Additional details: Responsible for completion of a complex project on time. Responsible for managing multiple priorities. Collaborate as needed with other engineering business support disciplines internally as well as suppliers externally. Provide guidance or mentorship to entry level engineers working on a common project. Perform and check complex engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks, as well as general industry, engineering standards and processes. Responsible for the preparation and delivery of complex plans, designs, computation methods, and/or reporting. Research, create, and update standard engineering methodology, procedures and best practices. Plan and direct the technical aspects of the most highly complex research and development programs.
