The role: As a Business Systems Analyst -Data your primary responsibility is to help drive the requirements for projects and items for product backlog and technical solution for the scrum team(s) based on business priorities and features as defined by working with the Business Intelligence teams, Client Managers, Data Architects, Engineers, Analysts and other stakeholders Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Prepared, self-directed, organized and responsible Collaborative and humble decision-maker Good at sorting through ambiguity Comfortable presenting to groups and demoing working software Goal and detail orientated Excellent written and face-to-face communicator Experience 4-year College Degree or Foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst Advanced SQL Skills required Familiarity with the product owner role and concepts Experience with Jira to manage product roadmap and backlog Experience working directly with technology teams and business stakeholders as a product manager Experience with SAFe, Lean, and Agile Data Warehouse development Prior healthcare experience preferred Responsibilities Know our products and contribute a genuine passion and enthusiasm for our mission Collaborate with various stakeholders including the Business Intelligence teams, client management, customer success, operations, and engineering functions to define the features that address the business needs Work closely with the Scrum Master, Agile Team, and QA to translate roadmap into team specific release plan and sprint plan in consideration of business needs and dev/engineering feasibility. Participate in maintaining an implemented platform design Ensure compliance with security policies through profiles, roles and permission sets Extensive knowledge of data, including investigation and analysis Liaise with customers, development, operations and senior leadership Analyze and create business, functional and technical requirements utilizing an Agile methodology Recommend changes in product, process and service offerings; presents high-level benefits of recommendation and explains rationale for selection over alternative solutions Follow established release management guidelines Guide and oversee acceptance and functional testing; coordinate UAT testing with QA and business Demonstrate product and service offerings for customers and end users Understand and translate analytics POCs from the business into requirements for productionalized data warehouse processes.
