Title: NCR POS Consultant (Automation & Performance testing-POS)

Location: Seattle, WA (Day-1 Onsite)

Long-Term Contract/ Fulltime .

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Point of Sale (POS) NCR Resource to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, support, and optimization of NCR POS systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in a retail or hospitality environment. The candidate should have a strong background in POS systems, particularly NCR, and be well versed in troubleshooting, technical support, and system configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. NCR POS Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and updates on NCR POS systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.

2. Technical Support: Provide technical support to end users and store staff for NCR POS related inquiries and problems. Offer training and guidance to staff on the proper use of NCR POS systems.

3. System Configuration: Configure and customize NCR POS systems to meet the specific needs of the business. Implement changes and updates to NCR POS software as required.

4. Security and Compliance: Ensure that NCR POS systems adhere to security and compliance standards, especially in payment processing. Monitor and address security vulnerabilities and risks.

5. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to NCR POS systems. Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve system problems.

6. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of NCR POS configurations, updates, and troubleshooting procedures. Create and update user guides and training materials.

7. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with NCR and other POS system vendors, including procurement of hardware and software components.

8. System Upgrades: Plan and execute NCR POS system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

9. Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and speed of transactions.
