The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow platform development, particularly in the area of CMDB implementation and customization. As a Senior SN CMDB Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the CMDB within the ServiceNow platform to ensure accurate and reliable configuration management across our organization. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop the CMDB architecture and schema within the ServiceNow platform to meet organizational requirements and best practices. Customize and extend the ServiceNow CMDB functionality through scripting, configuration, and integration with other modules. Implement and maintain data normalization, reconciliation, and CI (Configuration Item) identification rules to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define CMDB use cases, and translate business needs into technical solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, infrastructure, and development, to ensure alignment of CMDB with organizational goals and processes. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and support staff on CMDB-related initiatives and projects. Conduct regular audits and assessments of the CMDB data quality and integrity, and implement corrective actions as needed. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new features in the ServiceNow platform, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Participate in the ServiceNow community by sharing knowledge, contributing to forums, and attending relevant events or training sessions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow platform development, with a focus on CMDB. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and other scripting languages used in ServiceNow development. Experience with ServiceNow CMDB configuration, including CI classes, relationships, and data models. Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and ITSM (IT Service Management) processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to CMDB. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
