The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IBM Sterling Order Management System and its various modules. As a Sterling OMS Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting Sterling OMS solutions to meet our clients' business needs and requirements. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into Sterling OMS solution designs and configurations. Design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, and integrations within the Sterling OMS platform to address specific business needs and enhance functionality. Configure and optimize Sterling OMS modules, including Order Management, Inventory Management, Fulfillment, and Reverse Logistics, to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality Sterling OMS solutions on time and within budget. Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on best practices, solution design, and implementation strategies for Sterling OMS. Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to identify and resolve issues, optimize system performance, and ensure system stability. Create documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and user guides, to support the implementation and maintenance of Sterling OMS solutions. Stay informed about the latest updates, features, and best practices in Sterling OMS and related technologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Participate in knowledge sharing activities, such as training sessions, workshops, and forums, to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of learning and innovation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with IBM Sterling Order Management System, including implementation, customization, and support. Strong technical skills in Java/J2EE, XML, XSLT, and SQL, with experience in developing and debugging Sterling OMS customizations and integrations. Proficiency in Sterling Configuration Application (SCA), Sterling Integrator, and Sterling Distributed Order Management (DOM) modules. Experience with web services (SOAP, REST) and messaging protocols (MQ, JMS) used in Sterling OMS integrations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and propose innovative solutions. IBM Sterling OMS certification(s) is a plus.
