The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing trading systems, with a focus on the ION platform. This role requires a deep understanding of electronic trading, ION API development, and ION auto coding. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain applications on the ION trading platform. Implement and integrate ION API to facilitate electronic trading. Utilize ION auto coding techniques for efficient development. Collaborate with trading and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the ION platform. Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in electronic trading. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an ION Developer in a financial services environment. Strong understanding of electronic trading principles. Expertise in ION API development and ION auto coding. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Familiarity with capital markets and trading workflows. Preferred Skills: Experience with other trading systems and technologies. Knowledge of fixed income and derivatives markets. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
