You will also be responsible for technical quality, client relationships, schedules, budgets, and safety throughout the project lifecycle. Bachelors degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or a related field (a masters degree is preferred). Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), or other license relevant to the environmental field or eligibility to obtain registration within 6 months. Minimum of 5 years of environmental remediation experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience managing investigation and remediation projects under CERCLA, RCRA Corrective Action and/or state regulatory programs. Minimum of 3 years of experience managing projects for federal clients. Experience with performance based contracting and both firm-fixed price and cost-plus fixed fee cost structures. Excellent time management and organization skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and keep organized to ensure timely and accurate work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a team setting and individually. Strong self-motivation and initiative. Understanding of risk management policies and procedures. Experience with the following environmental remediation practice areas: Various multi-media Investigative techniques to include high resolution site characterization (HRSC). Screening levels and the risk assessment process. Identification and selection of remedial technologies and approaches. Remedy implementation to include remedial construction and various in-situ and ex-situ treatment technologies. Investigation and/or remediation of PFAS impacted sites. Essential Job Functions: Management of the investigation/characterization, remedial design, remedy implementation/construction, operations and maintenance and/or long-term monitoring phases of the CERCLA, RCRA Corrective Action or state regulatory program processes. Meeting project scope, schedule, budget requirements. Directing, managing, and leading project teams to meet project objectives in-line with company and customer quality expectations. Communicating effectively with clients, regulators, project team members, and company management. Effectively manage project risks and develop mitigation approaches and strategies. Supporting business development efforts, including leading or supporting proposal efforts.
