Role: Automation Controls Engineer Location : Kalamazoo MI Contract : 12+ Months Job Description: Teams to Onsite Responsible for design and implementation of key automation aspects of an equipment project, often including PLC, vision, HMI programming. Design of electrical panel(s). Design and PLC programming (configuration of PLC program) on standard equipment/products Lead and perform complex quality checks which require an intricate understanding of the machine control systems and operations Must be local to Kalamazoo area Must have 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer Position requires onsite work only in Kalamazoo, MI Must be willing to work occasional weekends Work experience must include: o Delta V o Foxboro o Wonderware platforms o Rockwell o RSLogix5000 o FactoryTalk View Site Edition (SE) and Machine Edition (ME) o PanelView Plus o PlantPAX o Siemens Simatic APT (Siemens TI-505 PLC controller): This work experience is preferred since the PLC is a legacy controller. Pfizer Automation is willing to train in Siemens TI-505 PLCs, providing that that candidate is knowledgeable with Rockwell PLCs Responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated utility, processing, filing, inspection, and packaging equipment.
