This position requires a deep understanding of database replication concepts, Oracle databases, and proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Oracle Golden Gate environments. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and support Oracle Golden Gate solutions tailored to meet specific business requirements. Responsibilities: Design and architect Oracle Golden Gate solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications. Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Golden Gate environments across various platforms and database versions. Implement and manage data replication configurations including unidirectional, bidirectional, and multi-master replication setups. Monitor and optimize performance of Oracle Golden Gate processes to ensure efficient data synchronization and minimal latency. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data replication, connectivity, and system performance. Develop and maintain documentation including installation guides, configuration documents, and operational procedures. Collaborate with database administrators, developers, and infrastructure teams to integrate Oracle Golden Gate with existing systems and applications. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on Oracle Golden Gate best practices and methodologies. Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure effective utilization of Oracle Golden Gate features. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Oracle Golden Gate technology and recommend enhancements or upgrades to existing implementations.
