Experience with Secretary of State for the State of CA is highly desired! With SOS experience, This is a QA Manager position and candidate must have lead/management experience. Looking for a contractor to lead Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test efforts under the direction of Project s Quality Assurance/Testing Manager. The QA/QC Lead(s) will assist with planning, monitoring, controlling, executing, and assuring quality of the Project processes and work products, including the UAT processes. Additionally, they will monitor third party testing activities like system testing, performance testing, etc. The scope of work shall also consist of performing and monitoring regression testing of the system. The Project is a medium to high complexity, information technology (IT) project involving information system development, integration, data conversion, and deployment. 1) At least three (3) years of experience managing Quality Control and Quality Assurance for a large and complex IT system* project which includes: Maintaining the project s Quality Management Plan; Managing QA/QC activities including providing updates to the project s integrated master schedule; Developing, measuring, and maintaining test matrices for all types of testing coverage, reporting testing progress to plan (e.g., velocity), and providing testing metrics that demonstrate overall system quality; Identifying lessons learned for the QA/QC engagement. 2) At least three (3) years of experience leading and overseeing a user acceptance testing team for a large and complex IT system that leveraged software development lifecycle methodologies such as waterfall, hybrid agile, etc., including experience with user acceptance test strategies, test plans, test scripts, and testing tools. 3) At least three (3) years of experience implementing test methodologies, such as system testing, regression testing, and system integration testing. This experience must include creating test plans, generating, and maintaining test cases and other test-related documentation such as test results, test statuses and defects. 4) At least three (3) years of experience leading and overseeing external interface testing efforts on a large and complex IT system. 5) A minimum of two (2) years of experience using automation testing tools such as SoapUI, Katalon, Selenium and Postman. *A large and complex IT system is defined as: At least $20M in total project cost; A solution that has at least one hundred (100) internal end users and one hundred thousand (100,000) external users; and A solution that provides a secure data exchange interface with multiple external systems. 6) At least three (3) years of experience as a test lead coordinating and collaborating with a prime vendor/system integrator s development and testing team. 7) At least three (3) years of experience developing test case scenarios to perform positive and negative testing of requirements to ensure forward and backwards traceability. 8) At least three (3) years of experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps to manage the end-to-end test process, including developing real time reports, configuring test activity dashboards, etc. 9) At least two (2) years of experience creating reports using Microsoft Power BI tool or equivalent.
