Based in Dallas, but these roles are remote. Need to work on CST Official Title/Assigned Title: Solutions Architect, Data Architect Direct Hire/Contract/Contract to hire: Contract to hire, 6+ months Travel required: N/A Duties: *Design and architect data solutions on data moving in and out of the organization from a variety of sources for an efficient and scalable data architecture. *Working with structured (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL) and un-structured (Elastic and Mongo DB) databases. *Designing data structures within a Microservices Architecture. *Creating solutions to bridge on-prem data with cloud data for better BI reporting. *Define and enforce data standards, policies and procedures. *Evaluation, selection, and implementation of data tools, technologies, and standards. Required Skills: *12-15+ years of overall experience, with at least a couple years of Architecture experience. *Data Architecture experience, working with SQL and No SQL databases. *Strong exposure in database management systems, data warehousing, and data integration technologies. *Experience with data warehousing tools. *Experience with multi-data center environments. **Not an absolute must, but a very heavy preference to have Data Governance experience. Ideally setting it up, but at least understanding best practices. Preferred Skills: *Heavy preference for cloud experience and hybrid architectures; ideally in AWS. *Experience with e-commerce, intranet, and extranet development. *Experience with SSIS and SSRS. *Bachelors Degree.
