Key Skills: Proficiency in Mainframe Platforms (CICS, batch analysis, and SOAP web services) Understanding of Legacy Systems (CICS, COBOL, VSAM) .NET Development, including Web Services and APIs Description: We are embarking on an initiative to replatform our mainframe-based licensing system. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in mainframe platform skills, including CICS, batch analysis, and SOAP web services. As we transition our licensing system to a new platform, expertise in .NET development and web services is essential. Advanced skills in developing RESTful web services are highly valued for this engagement. The primary project involves refactoring a mainframe application to a modern infrastructure, transitioning from CICS, COBOL, and VSAM to a .NET framework, C#, and SQL environment.
