As an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support our applications and services hosted on GCP. Your expertise in cloud technologies and automation will be crucial in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud-based systems. Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Management: Architect, deploy, and manage the cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, including virtual machines, containers, networks, and storage, to support our applications and services. Continuous Integration and Deployment: Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar, to enable smooth and efficient application deployment. Automation: Drive infrastructure automation efforts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies, to streamline provisioning, configuration, and management of resources. Scalability and High Availability: Design and implement scalable and highly available solutions, leveraging GCP services such as load balancers, auto-scaling groups, and multi-region deployments. Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to infrastructure architecture, deployment processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Requirements: Candidate should have more than 10 years of experience Job Description: DevOps Engineer with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Candidate should have over 10 years of experience Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on GCP. Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, etc. Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Solid understanding of networking principles and security best practices in a cloud environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshootcomplex technical issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment. Google Cloud Platform Certification (e.g., Google Certified Professional - Cloud DevOps Engineer). Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Experience of infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack). Previous experience in a high-traffic, production environment.
