This is a Senior Datastage ETL Engineer, must be an expert level engineer with Datastage and Building ETL pipeline using Datastage. ALL CANDIDATE WILL BE PUT THROUGH A HEAVY TECH SCREEN BEFORE BEING PRESENTED TO CLIENT. PLEASE SCREEN THEM. NOTE #1: Adding 5 engineers to existing team. NOTE #2: Must report to the work site, NYC, for 4 month then will offer a remote option. Skills Need: Must have 8+ years of experience working for US companies in the US. Must have 4 + years of Recent Banking experience (Since 2017). Must have at least 7+ years of experience with IBM Data Stage version 9.1 - 11.5. Must have min 5 years of experience with ETL using Datastage. Must specialize in creating, enhancing, and supporting multiple data pipelines. Perform 'Enhancements' to to legacy platforms by providing scalable and maintainable solutions. Must have at least 5+ years of experience with different flavors of RDBMS such as SL Server, Oracle, DB2, and Vertica) Manage the development and deployment of New projects and enhancement in the ETL process using Datastage. Must have at least 5+ years of strong experience in coding using SQL, procedures, functions and triggers. Must have extensive experience writing complex mapping, operations scripts and triggers to load data in to data warehouses and database and integration. Must have at least 2+ years of working experience in agile development practices Must have 'Excellent and Articulate' communication skills are a must. Being able to easily identify and discuss with all team members any development needs or recommended approaches is critical. The JOB: Advise developers on the most efficient database designs (tables, datatypes, stored procedures, functions, etc). Developing, and maintaining ETL jobs using DataStageto load into the data warehouse. Work with business analysts and other stakeholders to undersatnd business requirments and ETL jobs that meet thoses requirments. Consultant must have experience: 1) Writing and improving SQL Server T-SQL queries for at least a year. You will be known amongst the office as the go-to person for T-SQL questions. 2)Designing tables and picking datatypes o Using Profiler traces and other tools to find the most frequently run queries. 3) On-call troubleshooting for SQL Server service outages. 4) Deciding whether clustering, log shipping, mirroring, replication, etc are the right fit to solve a business problem.
