Position: Database Administrator Location: Plano, TX (DAY 1 Onsite) Experience: 10+ Years #PASSPORT NUMBER MANDATORY # ONLY LOCAL Competencies: ORACLE SQL, Database Technology Essential Skills: Oracle / SQL Role & Responsibilities: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience (5+ years) as a Database Administrator, with a focus on Oracle administration. Manage and administer Oracle SQL databases, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of database software. Ensure the availability, integrity, and security of the databases by implementing appropriate backup, recovery, and monitoring solutions. Provide Level 3 support for Oracle SQL database-related issues, investigating and resolving complex technical problems in a timely manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents. In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, administration, and performance tuning techniques. Proficiency in SQL query optimization and database performance tuning. Strong understanding of database security best practices and experience implementing security controls.
