Job Title: QA Automation Engineer - Calypso Specialist Location : Charlotte, NC **Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer with specialized knowledge in Calypso, a leading capital markets platform. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial software solutions by developing and implementing automated testing strategies specifically tailored for the Calypso platform. **Responsibilities:** 1. **Calypso Automation Framework Development:** - Design, develop, and maintain a robust and scalable automation framework for Calypso, ensuring efficient test coverage and execution. 2. **Test Scripting and Execution:** - Create and execute automated test scripts for various modules within the Calypso platform to validate functionality, performance, and integration. 3. **Collaboration with Development Teams:** - Work closely with the development teams to understand new features, changes, and enhancements in the Calypso platform, and develop corresponding automated test scenarios. 4. **Regression Testing:** - Implement and maintain a comprehensive regression testing suite for Calypso, ensuring that all existing functionalities continue to perform as expected with each release. 5. **Performance Testing:** - Conduct performance testing on Calypso components to identify and address any scalability, speed, or stability issues. 6. **Defect Tracking and Reporting:** - Identify, document, and track defects, working collaboratively with development and product teams to ensure timely resolution. 7. **Calypso Configuration Management:** - Gain expertise in Calypso configuration and work closely with configuration management teams to ensure accurate and effective testing environments. 8. **Training and Documentation:** - Provide training and documentation for QA team members on Calypso automation best practices, tools, and techniques. **Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with a focus on the Calypso platform. - Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Groovy. - In-depth knowledge of Calypso configuration and customization. - Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Cucumber, or TestNG. - Solid understanding of financial markets and instruments. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Calypso certification or relevant training. - Previous experience in the financial services industry. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
