In this position, the Application Developer will serve as a key role in providing support and technical expertise with custom application development, including the conversion of in-house developed applications to current technical methodologies. The Application Developer will use various technologies to support data analytics, data extraction, complex reporting, SQL scripting, and automating processes associated with applications utilized throughout the organization. Education Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field and 3 years programming experience; or two-year degree in computer science or related field and 5 years programming experience. Preferred Experience: Experience with ASP . NET , VB. NET , C#, and Groovy on Grails languages. Experience with MS Visual Studio. Experience with MS SQL Server Reporting Services or other reporting framework. Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery or AJAX , Web Services and APIs. Experience implementing, supporting, and integrating ERP systems. Experience in an enterprise environment implementing and adapting to changing technologies. Experience with Evisions IntelleCheck and FormFusion, eInvoice, eProcurement, Oracle RDBMS , MSSQL, T- SQL , Linux command line, and scripts. Experience working with an authentication technology such as Central Authentication Service (CAS) and/or Active Directory. Responsibilities: Participate in the gathering and review of business processes, design analysis, project planning, implementation, documentation, thorough testing, and training of end users. Assist users in defining and creating reports and troubleshooting user problems guided by department goals and objectives. Act as project liaison between IT partners, client organizations, and IT leadership. Coordinates and/or implements interfaces to external systems and software. Participate in fit gap and prototyping sessions, configuring systems, testing configurations, setting up tables, importing and exporting data, and resolving issues. Write queries or design and produce reports that support the finance and human resources departments. Troubleshoot and analyze system issues, thinking 'outside' the box ability to develop and test various business process scenarios. Analyze data to ensure accurate reporting. Maintain, regularly review, update, and grow an inventory of legacy reports, system-delivered reports, and customized reports. Projects/Tasks NeoGov - Support project to implement NeoGov onboard, perform, and learn modules. o Position Import (Import Data into NeoGov from Banner) Extract data from Banner into a file for import into NeoGov Set up a process to automate sending data files to NeoGov. o Hire Export (Export Data from NeoGov and Import into Banner) Retrieve data file from NeoGov and import it into Banner. Set up a process to automate receiving data files from NeoGov and importing them into Banner. o Employee Import (Import Data into NeoGov from Banner) Extract data from Banner into a file for import into NeoGov. Set up a process to automate sending data files to NeoGov. Case Management System - Transition to new Case Management System. Assist with writing MS SQL queries, stored procedures, etc. to facilitate extracting data from the legacy application and importing it into the new database based on the ICD. Assist with implementing a web service to interface with an Oracle Database. Assist with modifying an existing classic ASP application to interface with the new MS SQL database. Benchmark Upgrade Assist with modifying a custom classic ASP web application to support new requirements. Pay Choice Payment Processing Review and modify an existing classic ASP website to communicate with a web-based payment gateway. PowerBI/Data Analytics Create SQL queries to support data analytics using Power BI. HRViewer (Document Scanning and Management) Maintain a custom VB.net application. CVScanner Maintain a custom VB6 application. Correct application errors.
