Our client is seeking a Functional Consultant to work on a part-time basis for 3+ months. Job Description: The primary objective is to find someone that is able to understand the business flows and business usage of the product. This person will advise how journal entries are handled, how the GL gets updated, and how Worker Actions function in D365. Lastly someone, that knows how workflows should be configured to accomplish certain business approvals and set up the site hierarchies in the Commerce Module etc. Key requirements: Resident in Columbus with ability to be on-site part time would be ideal. 3-5 years of hands-on working knowledge of D365 F&O as a Functional Analyst. Functional Skillset: Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, TAS) HR functionality within F&O Some amount of supply chain (approval workflows, punchouts to Office Depot etc). Technical/Techno Functional: Reasonable working knowledge of SQL to the extent needed for production support Working knowledge of DMF and BYOD to the extent needed for Production support Accountabilities: Remedy production break-fix issues (50%). Support team with functional analysis for Projects (30%) Knowledge capture (20%) this would be standard good hygiene stuff such as updating tickets, runbooks or design docs with relevant info that is surfaced in the course of work Duration and Utilization Notes: Our team is already staffed with offshore technical FTES in X++, SQL, System Upgrades etc. The client has a 4-hour overlap with the EST time zone until about noon.
