All Interviews are Video with camera on Client sets the rates and they are normally very low What I expect to see on a resume: Education need BS degree minimum 3+ years of US based BI experience Experience with both PowerBI and Tableau UX experience SQL experience Experience working in an Agile environment Position Summary: The Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS) is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our Data Office. As part of the Commonwealths central data team, youll be on the front lines working to improve the value of our data systems across state government. As a BI developer, you will work in a vital role to deliver policy and operational insights to our partner agencies and improve the Commonwealths capacity for data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities: Translate business requirements into technical specifications Access, transform, and format data to meet business needs Design, build, deploy, and maintain BI solutions that meet high standards for functionality, usability, accessibility, and visual appeal in Tableau, PowerBI, and other BI tools Conduct user acceptance testing and troubleshoot issues Develop and update technical documentation Support and assist state agency partners with BI skill-building Knowledge, skills & abilities: At least three (3) years of proven, professional experience building effective BI solutions that meet business needs Working expertise in common BI tools, including Tableau and PowerBI Strong analytics skills Strong UX/design skills; ability to create intuitive, aesthetic data visualizations that will be useful and used In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing, and ETL frameworks Proficiency in SQL Able to keep pace with project timelines, including periods of fast-paced, sequential deadlines Experience in an Agile work environment Experience with government administrative data a plus Candidates selected for interviews should be prepared to present examples of their work.
