About the job We are looking for a highly proficient and highly motivated Senior Database Administrator with deep technical skills to support critically important database platforms. This position would provide an excellent opportunity to work on leading database technologies like Oracle, Postgres, NoSQL, Snowflake etc. It is a phenomenal place to experience and learn end to end DBA service capabilities! Required Skills & Experience: 7+ experience in Oracle Database Administration / Performance Engineering / Replication Engineering across multiple platforms - Linux and Engineered systems. 1+ experience in DB performance for other database platforms (Postgres, Snowflake, Cassandra, MS SQL server, Netezza etc) Experience in Distributed replication technologies (Oracle GoldenGate, EDB Replication, etc), preferred Experience with cloud databases platforms (AWS/Azure/Oracle OCI certification is helpful), on both Linux and Windows environments Domain specialist in Oracle internals, Optimizer, Statistics management, Partition management, Physical implementation & Workload management for highly scalable and resilient database platforms. Sophisticated skills in Query Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid control (OEM 12c), Linux shell scripting, and writing database supervising jobs in PL/SQL. Strong Linux shell scripting experience preferred with a good understanding of Linux Performance A good understanding of Oracle RAC related performance challenges Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as maintaining a positive demeanor are a must Ability to develop and drive database performance standards, standard methodologies and initiatives.
