Job Title: Senior Software Developer with medical domain Job Type: Contract Job Location: Westford, MA (Onsite) Job Description: Preferred 15+ years of experience working in the industry/medical domain BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Strong knowledge and Hands-on experience working on C++ programming skills with a good understanding of the latest C++ development standards, OOPS, design patterns, algorithms, STL containers, and data structures. Knowledge and Hands-on experience working on other development languages like C#, Power, .NET framework (5+), SQL and MS SQL. Good understanding of TCP/IP protocol. Expertise in virtualization technologies like VMware for virtual machines (VMs) and proficiency with container technologies like Docker. Understanding of Azure, Microsoft IoT Edge, and ThingWorx .. Excellent knowledge of computer systems (networks, operating systems, and computer architecture). Basic understanding of SCM or software configuration management. Strong experience in using integrated development environments like Visual Studio to design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable C++ code. Proven experience with CI/CD tools like Microsoft GitHub, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins . Strong understanding of development methodologies and modern software design. Be able to resolve issues proactively to deliver high-quality products. Be able to do multiple tasks and work independently on assigned tasks, follow up with third parties for issues/resolutions. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, be able to communicate clearly with the end users, and business teams.
