Job Title: Senior Linux Build Engineer Job Type: Contract Job Location: Pittsburgh (US:15201), PA Onsite Job Description: Position Description Our client Medical Device business is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for their engineering business. This position will be responsible for the design & development of automation activities to support continuous integration along with the clients DevOps Team. Position Responsibilities: Working closely with the developers and test engineers for the Build, Test, Release, and Configuration Management activities (Source Control, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Configuration Management). Manage the Branching & Merging Strategy. Manage the application life cycle development processes- from development, to QA and production stages. Adhering to the build and release timelines. Create Installation Packages / Update Installers with VMWare updates. Position Requirements: Bachelors degree in engineering in Computer Science, Information Systems, Biomedical, or related field. Strong skills in Make, CMake, Bash Scripting, C Scripting, and Python Scripting. Proficiency in creating Infrastructure-as-Code. Setting Up/Optimizing the Jenkins pipelines on Ubuntu 22.04, and Ubuntu 16.04. Creating product installers on Linux. Experience with DevOps on GitLab, Jenkins, and Automation of the build systems. Understanding of C++ compilers. Troubleshooting on Jenkins including node maintenance and setup. Expertise in implementing strategies on optimization in product delivery using CI/CD. SOUP selection and maintenance. Expertise in AWS cloud, Antifactory for CD. Knowledge of Medical device-based software CI/CD would be good to have.
