Job Title: MES functional consultant Job Type: Contract Job Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite) Job Description: Lead the business case formulation for each site Gather information from the client to determine their challenges and priorities Recommend key system elements that would be beneficial to site-level business Analyze technological requirements, evaluate the solutions, and utilize the best system method required for the given business requirements Identify program-level risks and mitigation actions Experience in metal or related industries like production/quality/ order management/materials management/ warehouse management etc Expertise in Requirement gathering and functional design for MES projects / major manufacturing IT projects for the metals industry . Experience in the Order Dressing function of the MES is a must . Experience in creating business flow diagrams. AS-IS Study and TO-BE Functional blueprinting using MES standards. Experience in any MES product / MES commercial of the shelf products for the metals industry. Understanding of ISA-95 guidelines. Experience in performing gap-fit analysis with the MES products. Conducting workshops for requirement gathering review and requirement validation. Functional experience in Manufacturing IT Solutions.
