Job Title: Python Data Warehouse Developer Location: Plano, TX (on-site hybrid) End Date: 9 Months. Visa: USC/GC/GCEAD/Only Project: OneStream Convergence migration project Migrating all data pipelines (around 3000) associated with legacy frameworks to OneStream Time sensitive project IV: 30 min with team leads Duties: Understand eco system - existing workflows and underlying frameworks Understand data pipeline to OneStream Troubleshoot issues Migrate these existing workflows to new CapitalOne specific data ingestion framework Collaborate with and across Agile teams Gather metadata to meet the current data governance standards Perform unit tests and conduct reviews with other team members to make sure your code is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for performance Build scripts/utilities to accelerate migration Analyze data & generate reports Learn-unlearn-relearn concepts with an open and analytical mindset. Troubleshooting & Critical thinking Develop & review technical documentation for artifacts delivered. Junior Must have: Skillsets: 5 + years Python programming 7+ years CI/CD - Previous data pipeline experience with data migration projects 3+ years Good SQL experience (data validations to ensure everything is accurate to compare data) scripting- build scripts for migration 3+ years AWS cloud experience AWS -storage, S3, lambdas, SMS applications Junior Nice to have: Java, Skala, snowflake or any database, Big Data distributed computing Spark, Kafka Senior Must have: Skillsets: 5 + years Python programming 7+ years CI/CD - Previous data pipeline experience with data migration projects 3+ years of Good SQL experience (data validations to ensure everything is accurate to compare data) scripting - - build scripts for migration 3+ years AWS cloud experience AWS -storage, S3, lambdas, SMS applications Have done migration projects Capital One experience Self-motivated and able to lead the efforts of the junior developers Senior Nice to have: Java, Skala, snowflake or any database, Big Data distributed computing Spark, Kafka Trust is Contagious!!
