Hi, Network Engineer Location: Bakersfield, CA (5 days onsite) Local only Duration: Long Term Job Description- Management of Cisco Call Manager, including new user setup, routing/translation rule management, and troubleshooting. Previous experience Juniper campus switching environment Hands-on experience implementing Palo Alto, including Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud and optionally Prisma Cortex. Extensive work experience with Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Load Balancers and Firewalls. Experience working with Cisco Nexus 2148 Fabric Extender and Nexus 9K, 7010, 5000 series to provide a Flexible Access Solution for a datacenter access architecture. Experience with Cisco DNA solutions ISE, NGFW, Prime, ESA, WSA, VPN and CWS implementations. Experience with Spine Leaf Architecture, EVPN, VXLAN, VTEPS, VNI, BGP. Experience with Overlay and underlay technologies. Basic Knowledge on scripting in Python and Ansible. Responsible for Check Point (Secure Platform R70) and Cisco ASA firewall administration across global networks. Management of IP faxing solution, including new user setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Maintenance of on-prem network switching and routing hardware. Configuration and maintenance of remote site routers. Experience in NS2/NS3 and other network Simulators. Education & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution and four (4) years of progressive experience in a mid-level technical capacity for a medium to large organization with a structured IT department; OR Ten (10) years of progressive experience in a mid-level or senior technical capacity for a medium to large organization with a structured IT department. Preferred Experience: Cisco CCNA or Juniper JNCIA certifications.
