Title: DODD-Database Administrator 3 (732205) Location: Columbus, OH - 100% REMOTE - * MUST BE IN PERSON 1ST DAY FOR ON BOARDING * Duration: long term Contract Note Only local candidates The DBA3 will design and implement Agency data engineering solutions to include data platform selection and recommendations, including data modeling and enterprise architecture development. This position will make decisions affecting configuration of data reporting environments, configuration/set-up data systems, integration systems, and environment-specific storage. The DBA3 will monitor performance, tune indexes for high performance, configure standby servers, and implement log shipping and storage solutions. The DBA3 will work with IT Architecture staff, Agency CIO and/or IT Managers to design solutions that meet agency requirements and will assist in analysis of the solution designs business case. This position will also recommend strategy through defining tasks and/or leading meetings relating to design, implementation, operation, and ongoing maintenance of data-bases systems. It is critical that this position has at least 5 years proven experience related to data governance, data integrity and data modeling. This position will be required to provide guidance to DODDs Data Management team through designing and implementing best-practice solutions for data integration with Enterprise and Agency data platform environments to include Salesforce, StreamSets, Cloudera, Snowflake and MS SQL systems .
