You will also be responsible for orchestrating upgrades, backups, restore and provisioning of database instances. You will also work in tandem with the other teams and customer, preparing documentations and specifications as required to perform the pre-migration and post-migration tasks. Job Description: Over all 8+ years experience is required Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases Prepare documentations and configurations Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc. Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders internally and customers externally Desirable Skills: Strong proficiency in MySQL Database Administrator with at least 5 plus experience Ability to plan Server resource requirements from high level specifications during migration with respect to space and other current configurations Decent experience with recent versions of MySQL Understanding of MySQLs underlying storage engines Experience with replication configuration in MySQL Knowledge of de-facto standards and best practices in MySQL Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements Knowledge of MySQL features, such as its event scheduler User Management in MySQL Operating System understanding of Linux and Ubuntu Thanks & Have a Blessed Day, Prabhjith Singh | Sr Recruiter| Email: [email protected] | Phone : 732-929-6439 Siri InfoSolutions Inc, 3 Ethel Rd, Suite # 302, Edison NJ 08817.
