What are the must-have skills of your ideal candidate (top 3-5) All DevOps roles need familiarity with Python and related build tools, and one of the roles requires familiarity with Java and Python and related build tools (while these are not developer roles, familiarity with the tool chain is needed) Approximately 10 years of working experience with DevOps, Containerization, Cloud/Application Development/Platform engineering. Working experience with AWS and related services such as: o API Gateway, CloudFront, Elasticsearch, Fargate, Load Balancers, OpenSearch, S3, RDS, R53, etc. o Containerized workflows with Docker, ECS and ECR o Basic understanding of AWS networking including VPCs, Subnets, Firewall, TLS, etc. Experience with creating and editing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and related tools Experience setting up build and deployment pipelines and related developer workflows in tools like: Jenkins, GitHub, CodeBuild/CodeDeploy Will the candidate interact directly with the client Will the PM act as a buffer The candidate is expected to interact directly with the client. Preferred Years of Experience Range (does it have to be industry/consulting specific) 9 10, and 10+ Dont focus on years use the CircleCI Engineering Matrix for a Senior Engineer PROJECT DESCRIPTION What is the goal of the project What projects or business problems with this person work on immediately if hired Containerize applications using modern tools and technologies. Migrate applications to GitHub for version control and collaboration. Address the backlog of DevOps/CloudOps tickets promptly and efficiently.
