Implement security, roles, users, and privileges using the best practices. Build and implement automation for production deployment in Snowflake as appropriate. Develop solutions to recurring problems and resolve data related issues. Monitor databases to optimize database performance. Identify, tune, and fix performance issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot Snowflake database errors. Raise support tickets, follow ups, as needed. Work with diverse teams and users, from data engineers to data analysts. Provide database/objects recovery as needed. Create database, schema, tables, views, data sharing, data pipelines. Create Snowflake utilization and capacity/cost plans, identifies, and provide solution for abnormalities. Proactively identify, design, and implement improvements like automating manual processes, optimizing data flow, increase scalability, etc. Keep up to date with the latest features and best practices in Snowflake administration. Create and maintain new runbooks for new and improved processes. Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a database administrator. 2+ years of experience as Snowflake DBA. 4+ years of experience working in Azure cloud environments. High skills at query, index and performance tuning, stores procedures, and SQL coding. Strong DBA administration skills for all DB maintenance plan activities including backups, indexing, integrity, and consistency checks, etc. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems, performance tuning and optimization.
