Job title : Cloud Finance Lead REMOTE Long term Experience : 10+ years. Rate : 57$/hr on C2C Fixed Job description: A Cloud Finance Lead is responsible for ensuring cloud resources (cloud technology, tools, and cloud services) are used efficiently, providing transparency and accountability for cloud spend, and managing the business relationship with cloud vendors. This role advises the business on decisions to ensure their financial success and achievement of financial goals. The finance leads work to implement FinOps best practices and consistently pursues opportunities to achieve cost savings in cloud. Work with business units to identify and realize opportunities to reduce cloud costs and provide related reporting. Work with Cloud Platform Team to create and implement a tagging and alerting strategy for cloud resource billing. Allocate cloud costs to organizations that use the cloud services and applications (show back / chargeback) Build and implement cloud financial controls. Create business cases and obtain business case approval for cloud projects and business commitment to the required funding. Provide cloud cost inputs into annual planning and forecasting process. Identify Cloud FinOps KPIs and implement methods for tracking and reporting. Experience creating business cases and return on investment analyses. Ability to manage financial analysts. Implementation of and management of financial controls and analysis systems/tools (cloud cost, analysis, show back, and chargeback) Cost optimization Knowledge of cloud services and associated expense models Experience understanding how cloud resources are organized and tagged.
