Proficiency in IBM DS8000 series, EMC VMAX, and related technologies in both direct attached and virtualized environments. Must-Have Skills: Extensive experience with storage provisioning, LUN management, CIFS/NFS mount management, zoning, performance management, and volume management primarily based on IBM and/or EMC technology. Strong working knowledge of Brocade or Cisco based fabrics, EMC Celerra, EMC Centera, EMC Clariion, and file systems (CIFS, NFS), quotas, data mover management. Familiarity with firmware upgrades/patches, system tuning, capacity planning, and performing routine maintenance tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service orientation, conflict management, and the ability to work collaboratively. Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project), including the ability to write technical documentation (e.g., Microsoft Visio). Duties : Provide 24x7 support for the enterprise storage infrastructure, including Fibre Channel and NAS. Plan, test, and implement maintenance activities, firmware upgrades, and patches. Perform storage provisioning, zoning, and conduct performance analysis to optimize the storage environment.
