This role demands expertise in application development, system integrations, and implementation, serving as a key figure in crafting technical solutions for complex business needs. Required Skills Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum 8+ years of architecture experience. A local candidate is a must. Executive presence and good communication/articulation. Have a good understanding of the technology landscape and depth including Cloud (AWS), Infosec, Microservices, APIs, Data and other integration patterns, etc. Proven track record in architecting and implementing large-scale business technology transformations. Comprehensive understanding and hands-on expertise in technical domains, coupled with strong leadership, development management, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with IT, vendors, and business teams to develop solutions meeting technology standards and business requirements. Successful experience as a hands-on Architect on projects of varying scales within the past 4-5 years. Proficiency in APIs, identity and access management, Cloud technologies (such as Salesforce, AWS), Middleware/ESB/ETL tools, and mobile/web application development stacks. Bonus: Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform Financial services experience Have technical depth in any of the following domains: Payments/Billing/Treasury, Insurance products - Vehicle Protection products, Consumer Lending, Multi-tenant platforms, Accounting/Tax/Finance & Risk/Compliance Responsibilities: Lead workshops and discussions, guiding teams in leveraging standards and design patterns to propose system solutions meeting business requirements. Assess, design, and implement scalable architectures. Collaborate with architects to provide necessary technology artifacts. Supervise and mentor Application Architects. Demonstrate proficiency in programming across various platforms. Work efficiently in fast-paced environments, driving innovation while meeting business and customer needs.
